Experience/Portfolio
SugarProjects, July 2020 - July 2022
For two years I worked at SugarProjects, a creative digital agency based in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland.
I took the role of the Lead Developer and led over half a dozen website/web app launches from start to finish, while simultaneously maintaining a wide variety of legacy sites and server maintenance.
These sites ranged from using VueJS/NuxtJS/Node to WordPress/PHP, ReactJS/NextJS and C#.
FCBS, August 2022 - August 2023 (FeildenCleggBradley Studios)
FCBS is an architectural studio with 4 offices based in London, Bath, Manchester and Belfast for which I took on the role of Frontend Developer for one year.
During my time, I helped build admin interfaces linking to data oriented APIs, I revamped parts of the internal company intranet to run efficiently using an API driven architecture and also undertook a large project of creating a frontend for an internal CMS.
Frontend
Since university I have become very familiar with CSS and JavaScript while also continually evolving my grasp on modern practices.

I also like to continue to experiment with modern JavaScript frameworks such as SvelteJS. By being conscientious, I hope to build/evolve my frontend code architecture by continuously applying all the paradigms and knowledge I have learned from my experience across software development and game development as a whole.
Similarly, in regards to CSS, I have not only learned from a wide range of CSS frameworks but I am familiar with BEM, 7-1 folder structure and modern CSS preprocessors to help keep my project structure up to date.
Design
To compliment my ability with CSS & JavaScript I have been trying to enhance my skills in design. During my experience in the industry I have been exposed to software such as Adobe XD, InDesign and Figma.
Backend
As you can see, my main skills reside in frontend development, however I have also previously worked heavily in NodeJS with Express and used PHP in some commercial projects.

More Recently I have undertaken personal learning in .NET.
Due to my experience working in Unity and exposure to C#, I have been interested in it's use within a web context. I also feel this has helped me grow as a more well-rounded developer.
Hobbies
Game development is my main hobby and the game above, Stasis Hero, is a solo independent video game project I’ve undertaken during my free time.
I have also developed a couple of games recently for online Game Jam competitions which are linked below.
